Tying the Knot: Handfasting and Pagan Wedding Ceremonies

This Halloween, I had the pleasure of attending the enchanting pagan ceremony of Chloe & Aaron at the magnificent Whittington Castle!

For those who are unfamilar, Pagan wedding ceremonies, also known as handfastings, symbolize the union of two individuals in a formal, loving, and equal partnership. Chloe & Aaron's ceremony was just that - a ceremony that was genuinely intimate and embodying true love.

The couple chose to write their own heartfelt vows to one another, accompanied with their nearest and dearest reading poetry dedicated to the couple. The day was full of love and warmth, bringing a new heartfelt tradition to Halloween!

The ceremony was not only beautifully decorated, but the venue also beautifully adorned the grounds! The area was filled with pumpkins and autumnal ribbons, the perfect backdrop for an autumn wedding.
